Death Angel brought 2025 to a thunderous close with their 10th Annual Christmas Shows, held on December 18th and 19th at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. The two sold-out nights marked the grand finale of the band’s Act III U.S. tour, celebrating the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1990 album.
Staying true to the spirit of the tour, Death Angel performed the entire Act III album in full, giving fans a rare, front-to-back live experience of one of Bay Area thrash metal’s most influential releases. The shows also featured special guests Dümsürf and Damnage, adding to the sense of a hometown metal celebration.
The annual Christmas shows have become a long-standing tradition for Death Angel — a yearly gathering that blends holiday spirit with pure thrash intensity. Over the years, these concerts have evolved into must-attend events for fans, symbolizing both gratitude and continuity between the band and their community.
Headlining The Fillmore, one of the most prestigious and historic venues in American music, was especially meaningful. For Death Angel, a band born from the Bay Area metal scene, selling out back-to-back nights at the iconic venue underscored their enduring legacy and influence. More than just concerts, the 2025 Christmas shows stood as a celebration of history, tradition, and the lasting power of Act III.
